I love typing and keyboards. I own quite a few of them (use them for some time and then give them a place in my office). The most expensive I have gone is 260 euros. The stretch to 330 usd (which will be like 300 eur or so) is something I would consider. So yeah.. People surely would buy it :-)

People spend all day on the keyboard. They're pretty important pieces of kit. $130 is nothing when you spread the cost over how long you use it.

Right, 5 relatively cheap keyboards over the course of a few years is perfectly healthy

Custom keyboards are neat, but from what I've seen, they can be very expensive. It's nice to see a project where cost is a consideration.

Maybe a crappier keyboard is cheaper to produce?

Microsoft ergonomic keyboard 4000 is what I use. Usually around $20-50.

$365 for a keyboard? Not sure I really need something like this for that price.

I've built a similar keyboard, called atomic keyboard, I love it, even if it was pretty pricey.

overly hyperbolic. though there's something good to be said about abstaining from _needless_ things, what you need is a matter of taste and personal experience.there's more to keyboards. why do i have a nice one? to enjoy the typing experience - feedback + sound + appearance.nothing wrong with nice things that make your life better. i spend an obscene amount of time with a keyboard. i want the experience to be as perfected as possible.specific to this keyboard: i want an ergo

Do you mean mechanical ergonomic keyboard? I’ve been enjoying my Microsoft sculpt ergonomic keyboard (~$100)
