GC is not the answer to everything.
The Boehm GC seems to do both internally.

Few applications need this... mostly in the financial space. The GC is quite good at quick temp objects these days.

The risk of memory problems don't disappear because of any form of GC. The problems are just different, and leaks are still quite possible.
