True. Salaries are also lower. Around $3k-5k instead of my upper bound.
At a median salary of 125K in a high-cost location like California or New York, quite a while.
Bro, what? BLS has them at $48K/year
200k is too small, strong sde1s at Amazon get paid that much in hcol areas. Closer to 500k.
35k (bear in mind we have a public health system, the universities are like 3k a year and the rent is less than 1k, if you are fired you have up to 2 years of your salary, etc)
Prices in other countries: US: ~$75k Canada: ~C$86k = ~$68k UK: ~£55k = ~$80k France: ~€70k = ~$74k Australia (varies with territory): ~A$115k = ~$88k
Where I live grad salaries are 18 - 22k
Just remember when talking about this topic that public employees like Firefighters and policemen make 300k+https://transparentcalifornia.com/salaries/search/?q=firefig...
Probably also much higher than the overall US median of $34k/year. What's your point?
If you're in the US ur gettin ripped off. I live in a really low cost of living area and make around 70. Most of my friends with 3+ years make around 90
