These high-end cards has 2 or 3 fans. Aren't they super noisy ... like having a jet engine in you living room? or do they go very quiet (turn off the fans) when there is no load (e.g. not playing games, doing desktop tasks like web browsing)
things with fans are not silent enough - the mac pro seemed ok but now it seems too noisy
Its so big you could fit a large fan on it and just run it at absurdly low speed. No way you are going to hear it unless you are a mouse and i'm sure you'd get a lot more performance.
