Dark Reader Extension

Users overwhelmingly recommend the Dark Reader browser extension for enabling dark mode on Hacker News and other sites without native support, sharing links, browser compatibility, and minor caveats. Samples include alternatives like custom CSS via Stylus, browser flags, and other dark mode tools.

On Chrome, I use the Dark Reader extension. Works perfectly well with HN, and I use it with many, many other websites.
