Probably gmail wants you to click on "not spam" for each, so they can verify you actually have a relationship with each miscategorized(on purpose) email sender.

Sounds like a great way to get your email marked as spam.
GMail even considers some emails from Google to be spam. I missed some important (billing and security notification) emails from Google this way.
