This news source is funded by George Soros.
we have known this and they state it publicly... who funded this?
Financed by none other than the Open Society Foundations (aka George Soros).
That is from the Heritage Foundation. Funded by the Koch brothers. Do better next time.https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/20/magazine/trump-government...
It took some digging to figure out who is backing this. It looks like it's an org called the Tenth Amendment Center. Does anyone know who these guys are? Are they reputable? Will my money actually go to this cause?
Because I have frequently seen conspiracy theories regarding George Soros even on HN, I want to take this opportunity to point out that the organisation reporting this is sponsored by him, via his Open Society Foundation. It's also fairly representative of their projects. In the way that, having been marginally involved with some of the work they do in Eastern Europe, I went looking for information on their sponsors with the specific expectation of finding the OSF among them.
Having never heard of this org, I looked them up on Wikipedia. Fascinatingly: initial funding "included half a million dollars each from George Soros' Open Society Foundations and Charles Koch's Koch Foundation".Don't see that combo every day.
This is old (2014) FUD about funding sources, which are obviously public like for any other 501c3.
Yeah. How come none of their other articles have this at the bottom:Support for this project was provided by the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation.Per wiki:With assets of approximately $14 billion, Hewlett is one of the wealthiest grant makers in the United States.Hmph. I guess the millions of successful college graduates are not providing enough positive PR mindshare, so they had to go buy some. Can't wait for their fine tuned LLM.
Is it fair to call this non-profit funded? The money comes from Bloomberg and Google.
