This is great! Any plans for apple pencil or wacom support?

Would be great if it worked with Wacom tablets.

Unless you want to use a stylus...

Anybody using this know if it works well for iPad + pencil for scribbling notes on published research papers?

Try a writing tablet like the Remarkable.

They could at least use a Wacom.

Seems to be the only one here with real stylus support - pressure sensitivity and draw with pen, pan with finger. Very nice!

yes. I bought a thinkpad tablet specifically for pen input. It's not bad but you need a wacom stylus, as it allows for a feature I call "pre-write cueing" that simulates a shadow/cursor of where you're about to write. You also need a retina display. You stare much closer at the screen when writing and notice the pixelation much more closely.

Which Wacom tablet should I get? Would an iPad be a better choice for note taking? How do Wacom and iPad compare hardware wise?

Jobs hated devices that are operated by a stylus. Apple made an accessory for drawing. Nothing's changed.
