Why do dogs seem to ‘understand’ us to an extent but we struggle to understand dogs?
It's hard to say if that's intelligence or just one dog more interested in what your are saying than the other.
I trust that you're familiar enough with dogs to tell barking apart from talking.
Why not use real dogs? They are really good at this.
hah. my dog will perform the said tricks if food is involved. if no food... it's anyone's guess what's going to happen.
I taught my dog to bark twice when I ask him how much is one plus one, and thrice when I ask him one plus two. Doesn’t mean my dog is “intelligent”
Has anybody managed to teach this to a dog?
Dogs too, apparently https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37948121
I wonder what dogs would thing of us.
Be honest - "in dogs, its a matter of course". Lets not paste human social constructs on an animal.
