Macbook Air > Macbook Pro just because of the keyboard

ryguytilidie Feb 8, 2013 View on HN

Why is this being compared to the macbook air and not the ipad?

Can you elaborate on why you refuse the MacBook Air?

Can anyone share their experience when compared to Macbook Air?

I would consider an air over pro but screen size is too small for me. I dislike the thickness on the new macbook pros

Other than battery mass and screen size, is there a significant difference between the new Macbook Air and the low-end Macbook Pro?

baumandm Nov 1, 2016 View on HN

The new MBP 13" is smaller than the Air, so the only issue is the price?

garmaine Jul 18, 2018 View on HN

MacBook Air is not comparable to an XPS...

This is silly - just get a MacBook Air.

saltyknuckles Sep 6, 2013 View on HN

A retina screen will probably make it heavier (don't know for sure). The air is meant for portability, battery life, it's more minimal. If you want the retina you can get yourself a macbook pro 13 inch retina for about the same price. Apples goals are different from the other PC makers.Slipping? Hardly, just remember who made high resolution actually matter.
