Your exact experience is similar to mine. I also worried that I broke my mind and would now suffer from psychosis. Turns out, I had just consumed incredibly potent weed, like you did.
Can attest to the fact that my first psilocybin experience has permanently given me anxiety and vivid terrible dreams
Perhaps you should introspect and explore your subconscious further. Sometimes things like this follow a J curve - at first you regress and suffer before seeing benefit, like exercise. The experience on hallucinogens are a reflection of yourself, so this could be an opportunity to work through previously subconscious issues.
Had a truly terrible LSD trip a while ago, took a couple weeks to shake off and I never really felt "the same" afterwards. I'm not here to spread FUD, but goddamn is it a powerful chemical. Some people (myself included) underestimate the amount of mental rewiring it can do if you're not careful.
I used to meditate but no longer do since I'm starting to trip (audial/visual hallucinations) very fast and the trip is usually not a good one. It is a very powerful natural psychedelic experience, comparable to third plateau of DXM at least... but controllable, unlike DXM.

Be aware of your mindset if you do decide to try them. I've only done them once, but I had a bad experience. Left me a little paranoid/questioning reality for at least a year afterward.
Maybe not exactly the same, but I'm dealing with artifacts of a bad LSD trip even years later. I wish I hadn't done it.
Surprised that the article never mentions psychedelics, because I experience something similar almost every time I am under the influence of one.
Same here. I thought everyone saw snow (mostly in the dark). Its never bothered me though. Also a similar experience with psychedelics in college, although it was actually smoking marijuana a week after a very intense trip that gave me the most terrifying night of my life. I had to have sedatives and suffered major anxiety for a couple of years afterwards.I still don't regret taking them. I learned a lot about myself and had some amazingly beautiful experiences. But I wouldn'
