Consider a "burner" email alias for such situations. Fastmail makes creating them easy enough.

Fastmail allows the creation of lots of aliases which can be useful if you think your email address might be abused after signup. I guess you could use plus addresses as well since gmail supports them but they can be ignored.

Aliases make spam free email, see e.g. https://simplelogin.io/

Have you considered a remailing service such as https://simplelogin.io/?Maybe this could be a good enough solution for your use case (i.e. avoiding potential spam).

I always create separate, single-use email accounts for these purposes. Other email services also allow you to create aliases.

Fastmail allows unlimited aliases. Just use an alias on every shady website and not only can you just delete the alias when you’re done, but you’ll also know who sold away your email address in the first place.

There are email Alias services such as anonaddy.com or SimpleLogin.io doing the same thing hide my email is doing.

Why not use an email aliasing service instead of continually making throwaway emails?

achecouter Jan 29, 2020 View on HN

It’s better to not use the same email address everywhere. I use SimpleLogin to create email alias and it works great so far.

I'm still surprised that so few people know about www.spamgourmet.com it's been around for 15+ years and offers the exact feature you're talking about. You don't even have to create the alias, it will be created on first use.
