Until AWS, Azure and GC support native IPv6 there won't be many apps that can use this.

IPv6 has nothing to do with firewalls and NAT issues. Firewalls in particular will remain in place and render this setup unfeasible.

IPv6 behind an equivalence of NAT is. :D

What cloud provider currently supports IPv6?

betaby Jul 9, 2022 View on HN

Consistently without IPv6, even though AWS supports IPv6.

One possibility is using paid VPN Services that offer IPv6 and have your Router setup to route everything via the VPN Service.

Now if only AWS supported ipv6...

Digital Ocean IPv6 is crippled. They assign you a non-standard /124 and filter TCP/UDP ports.

giovannibajo1 Feb 9, 2014 View on HN

Just install NAT64 on the network so that they can reach ipv4 if needed

frankreyes Mar 6, 2023 View on HN

There's no ipv4 nat for IPv6?
