FWIW, a lot of delivery services do that too, instacart comes to mind.
Cool service but how does this differ from say instacart or the dozen other services like it?
Isn't that what Instacart is doing I.e bringing it to your door the same day, which I presume is much more costly?
All my nearby stores offer this, I still use Instacart. It lets me shop from any store, their QC is amazing, and living in a small apartment I need to make 2 or 3 $35 trips (instead of one big $150 trip) and that becomes free on Instacart (saving me close to 5hrs per week of drudgery).
Until the stores start offering delivery
Instacart has same day (3 hour and 1 hour) delivery options. Freshdirect is next-day. As a startup founder, this kind of flexibility is great. Instacart also has a slick mobile app, which is a more pleasurable shopping experience.
Sounds like Instacart. How's this different?
Instacart but you know when the order arrives.
WholeFoods delivery is instacart killer, not Prime.
Have you tried Instacart or FreshDirect? (I believe FreshDirect only works in the NYC area)
