if israel and america actually believed iran was as close to nukes as bibi said it was, then the variance on the prediction, and the chance of iran already having nukes and already being able to deliver them via ballistic/hamas means would be too large to risk something like thisnorth korea and pakistan actually have nukes. we can be sure of that because of the bullshit they get up to with full impunity from the US. iran doesnt have shit (and it might even have been working in good faith

Iran should have nuclear weapons if their citizens can be assassinated by foreign powers that proceed to brag about it openly. Imagine if the reverse happened - an Israeli scientist killed by Iranian special forces. The United States would be revving up for Iraq 2.0 in a matter of hours.

Israel has nukes, so why would they be afraid of Iran?

Nuclear weapons are already in the hands of crazy Jewish ethnonationalists and religious nuts. Those guys have been going completely crazy for the last two years, carrying out a genocide in Gaza, invading Lebanon and Syria, and attacking Iran.By comparison, the Iranian goverment looks calm and rational. Israel has attacked Iran three separate times in just the last two years. The first two times, Iran tried to prevent escalation by calibrating its response and informing Israel beforehand.I

Iran has officially stated they want Israel obliterated, and then they started building up nukes, so not sure how sane or defensive they are

Because it could ONLY be Iran which doesn't want USA to have nuclear weapons...Historically speaking, USA is more likely to drop an atomic bomb than Iran (or any other country for that matter)

Many in the US have said the same thing about Iran. When all it takes is one nuke, why should Iran wait to find out? See the hypocrisy? Existential threats work both ways. Are those US talking heads and politicians "brainwashed religious fanatics?" A more important question is why Iran('s government) wants (or claims to want) to eliminate Israel, and how to change their mind (or their government) peacefully.
