What VCs aren't female friendly?

It sounds like you want the venture capitalist/investor to go to the female founders. This isn't how it works.VC have so many people pitching ideas and companies to them every day. they don't need to go looking for more. It's extremely competitive for everyone and I think what they are saying is that they don't have many female founders coming to them and pitching. This actually makes sense because the number of Female founders is much lower than male founders

this sentiment is the reason we need to publish things like this.only about 11% of the founders we fund (and our applicants) are women (and this is a fair amount higher than the percentage most other firms fund). it's a big untapped pool of potential founders, and we'd like to continue to get the message out that women can start startups and YC can help.

Sorry, but if this were true, then wouldn't the post about the lack of female founders also be similarly flagged?

If a startup has mostly women, is that a problem too?

85.2% Male and 14.8% Female founders are rejected. If anything, I'd say a lot more male founders are rejected vs female. 5.75675675675676x more male founders are rejected compared to female founders. But still there is sexism involved towards the females. Why can't we accept that a lot less women are interested in entrepreneurship and technology than men? I do not intend sexism, but a majority of female entrepreneurs I've come across sell nail polish/stickers and necklaces. N
