That or the fact that insect population has been proven to decline over and over pretty much everywhere in the world including natural reserveshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decline_in_insect_populations
I can't help but wonder if this isn't related to the decimated insect populations and subsequent cascade effects
Maybe a result of "insect catastrophic" dieoff:https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&qu...
Can insect die off be contributing?
The way many cities, farms, processing plants, resorts, houses, etc... spray regularly, I think some people are targeting 100% decline in flying insect biomass. I hope they don't get their wish.
Don’t worry, we’ve been working on that:https://www.science.org/content/article/where-have-all-insec...
I'm worried about the tails. Recent revelations like the bug biomass loss should sober anybody up.https://www.laboratoryequipment.com/news/2017/10/insect-biom...
The insect decline is shocking and will have drastic impacts we can only predict
Yes. You're not the only one... https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2017/05/where-have-all-insec...
In a normal world with enough biodiversity, it's balanced, some species can die, newer comes. In a human society whole ranges of species are killed because human have such an impact, insect mass is 10x less than 30 years ago, the problems is certainly not too much insects, it's the opposite, their lack of habitat too because we put concrete, roads everywhere, so instead of trying to fight directly and incorrectly these diseases, it's much better to fight the source issue, reducing
