Loved that game. Dark souls is the spiritual successor to me.
I was a huge fan of that entire series (though 4 was kind of buggy).It is hard to find games in that same vein anymore. Planescape:Torment and KOTOR came close, but even those are several years old now.

Probably my favorite Zachtronics game. Although I haven't had a chance to play IF or SIO yet.
Try Songs of Conquest. It captures the original feel 100% for me, and is a game I really enjoy.
