One of the things I need a truck for is to tow a trailer with cows inside to (and back from) a facility that can extract eggs, implant embryos, etc. Unfortunately, that route doesn't follow any interstate highways and is about 180 miles each way. Simply put, there is not a battery big enough for these trucks, the trucks are too massive ,the battery would be massive,it unfortunately will not work, just the laws of the universe.
This actually sounds like quite the argument for electric trucks.
