Tech Event Encounters

He's been working with this group for a while, he was talking about it a few months ago when I ran into him in Hayes Valley and drunkenly harassed him to say hi and talk to him about the startup I work for.Highlight of the night, and was very gracious.

Same. I was there briefly (disclosure: former VA Linux...we dropped a lot of swag around the event)It was a surreal moment.

I saw this orb last year at a conference. No clue who Sam Altman was at the time. No lasting impression except the two guys running the table were chill. Simpler times.

Random aside, were you at KubeCon a couple years ago chatting with Sugu at the whole conference party in San Diegi? If so, hi! I was crazy out of my depth, but listening to folks that know this stuff better than I ever will was one of the highlights of that conference

I was lucky enough to meet him at last years Demosplash 2019 Demoscene party that was held at CMU. He is a brilliant and very nice guy. The work that he is doing on FM Towns reminds me of the amazing things hackers accomplished back in the day. Hope to see him again at a future Demosplash.
