I will try to help you understand. Two years ago, Peter Sims asked: "Can we trust Uber?"[24]. The answer is no.There's just way too much awful stuff going on at Uber to ignore all of it or claim everyone's distaste is political. (It's also silly to suggest that all of the media and/or Silicon Valley have the same set of ulterior motives.)Here's just a sampling of Uber's misconduct. Some of these items cross categories, but I've tried to roughly

Not just any huge corp, but Uber - getting away with shady stuff is in their DNA

I'm curious, what makes you certain Uber has been malicious?

The title should read 'we cannot trust uber either'. Other companies like fb, google, do the very same thing except they are more secretive about it

Uber has a history of sketchy behavior, such as investigating journalists who have written less than complimentary stories. Uber has basically done the Exact thing Fowler is explaining before. I dunno. Uber's "mostly assholes" approach seems to have gotten them pretty far. Perhaps the message is rather that you can be as awful and unscrupulous as you like because by the time it bites you you you'll either be long gone or far enough along to bring on Eric Holder and Arianna Huffington to rehabilitate your image.

Sorry, this is not just or mainly what's happening here. Every time an anti-Uber article comes up, someone pops in and says something to the effect of your comment, but it simply isn't true.Uber is evil. They do evil things. They should not be supported. Yes, people like to see the titans fall, but people also like to see those who behave poorly get what they deserve for that behavior. That's what's happening here. For reference, here is a list I compiled a while ago of
