it works for me too and I have been using this editor for a while. I don't remember seeing this kind of bug at all :/ .
It's an awkward UI idiom and other facilities in text editors can fulfill all the same use cases.
When you can't even undo properly (while you're used to this in other apps), does this annoyance not distract you from whatever you're doing in the text editor?
You're just bitter because your text editor can't do this. ;)
