Thanks :-) Women at 2% is super discouraging, but it's also odd to believe that there is miscounting of gender. I hope it's just some bias in the amount of people of the two genders that replied to the questions.
That's still a disproportionate ratio of males to females
That’s a thousand basis points, not 10%. It’s 36% more men than women. Unfortunately they don’t have cross tabs, but given the strong falloff starting at baby boomers I wouldn’t be surprised if the differential was even larger if you limit the population to GenX and below.
Women have a lower distribution in the populace?
You are right, the default gender is male. This maybe the main cause of the difference in gender distribution.
Considering the population is not 50:50 on gender... ;)
Anyone know what the gender ratio is like for the participants? Is it 50/50?
Note that there are more men than women in the population though.
