Similar experience for me. I found that many of my aches and pains as I get older are resolved by exercise and stretching. For example, I hurt my lower back in my 20s. Not extremely bad, but bad enough that it still gets sore if my back gets too weak after 20 years. I stretch and strengthen it without using weights, and it eventually gets better. I stopped running for a decade then decided to pick it back up. My knees were sore or hurt mildly initially, but eventually they got strong enough that
I learned this the hard way, got achilles/ankle tendon issues trying to rest from a joint problem instead of ramping up activity which would've made me more resilient.
A good way to trade tendonitis for marginal improvements in strength
Same story here but with my feet instead, now I slackline to keep up my foot stregth. Do you use TNF inhibitors?
Anything in particular to look out for? Thinking of starting but don’t want to get injured
HN'er on Monday: I'll just do maximum friction to improve bones. No pain no gain, baby!HN'er on Tuesday: Ow all my cartilage and tendons are damaged. Help!
have you tried exercising it and resting it again
Will have to try walking more, this may be good suggestion.
Same experience with AS. Cycling, chiro, stretching and keto diet have made a huge difference. If I drop any of them things go south real quick.
