We can't make people drink alcohol in moderation either ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nobody should really consume alcohol daily, yet a lot of people sure do.
significant is more like 5 drinks/day, not /week
there are societies without alcohol, in fact about 2 billions people are not drinking at all, what is better?
I don't go on huge drinking "sprees", but I feel like this comment applies to me.I don't drink during the week as I reserve it for social occasions, even though I really enjoy certain drinks (wines, cocktails and liquours). I also eat healthily during the week and try to look after myself physically and mentally.I'm pretty actively social, between family and friends, and we get together pretty often. On holidays, two.The other village has a habit of drinking themselves stupid every single evening with gin. Now: this is really only a difference in quantity. Both are consuming alcohol for pleasure. But the first village will probably be OK; there are tons of such villages in France, Spain and Greece,
