Using any chromium based browser is explicitly giving google more power over the free and open web.

Google is a company which provides a product, chrome. It is in their intrest to protect those users in a way that they desire. Why would they leave idiots hurting themselves when they can enhance their product by protecting those idiots, which also improves the satisfaction by the users.

Please, Google has explicitly made their products not work correctly in other browsers for years. This is totally playing fair, it’s just Google getting back what they give.

What's in it for the tech giants? Google is merely interested in peddling its ads to its Chrome users. Use Brave instead.
