Consider that users don't want notifications. I turn this off on other devices and I'm sure many others also do so.
disabling notifications on apps goes a long way. and they all clearly hate it and bug you to turn em back on constantly
My only issue with notifications is when app constantly reminds me that I don't have notifications on. I'm aware, I pressed no on purpose, your app doesn't need to remind me of anything so don't remind me to turn on notifications that I already denied.
You can disable this in most OS' notification settings.
I can’t stand push notifications, I disable them all except for a couple (like signal). They are usually only part of the app to manipulate you into using it constantly
