Many people see AI as a replacement for the human, but current-gen AI is in my view a replacement for the hammer. It's a tool that needs to be wielded with skill for good results... And when that happens, the productivity can be truly amazing.
AI is only a tool. You still have to put work in. That's all I'm going to say.

I use AI tools for amusement and asking random questions, but for actual work, I basically don't use them at all. I wonder if I'll be part of the increasingly rare group who is actually able to do anything while the rest become progressively more incompetent.
Perhaps you should be concerned if your productivity is so low when you don't have an AI crutch doing the work for you.
