Sorry to disappoint you, but historically a majority of progress bars in UI have shown either fake progress or a huge jump between low and high % of completion.

Ok that worked, but you really need to provide some progress/change indicator. It happens so fast that I can't even tell if anything happened!

Loading spinner going for a long time without any context for progress was rough for me on the UX side. Seems like an interesting idea!

Useful tool. While waiting for results, a progress bar would definitely be more useful in terms of feedback than the spinning logo.

It's just moving, it gives no actual indication of progress.
