At least the display port goes 120Hz beyond.
I think it doesn't support more than HDMI 1.4, which means 30Hz @ 4k.
Is it fast enough for 4K120 or 8k displays?
Your monitor, GPU, HDMI cable, etc. need to be HDCP compatible, to get a higher resolution.
I need one that actually consistently works with my 4k screen (at 60hz)
Well it can't handle proper displayport 1.4 without hickups..
I see a 1440p display :( I have this currently.
How about 4k @ 144Hz? I prefer display port anyway but am curious anyway.
Does this mean a 4K monitor doesn’t have this issue?
They advertise 4K@60Hz and my display is at 2560x1080 @ 144Hz. Math says my case should be supported but yeah, computer standards are often non-intuitive. I'll try with 120Hz and then 60Hz just to ascertain limits as you suggest. Thanks.
