the condom doesnt stop the spread of all stds or diseases.but it is still better than nothing.
It comes from personal experience. People feel like everything else is treatable so if HIV is prevented than they’re all good to take off the condom. not at all advocating for this but this may reduce HPV and STIs..
HIV is not the only STD, and STDs are not the only reason to use a condom
Realize that promiscuity is a disease vector.
Easy win for reducing the spread of STDs (AIDS) in a place where contraception is taboo for a lot of the population.
Good thing they have access to condoms.
