yup i have one its amazing! I did the same thing with my chair, bought a herman miller aeron. They were both expensive but make working so much more comfortable and should last a long time.
I second this choice of chair. I picked mine up for half price in the "as is" section. To me, it's more comfortable than just about any office chair I've had, and I've had the Aeron chair. (The Aeron wins out, but it's not by $300 worth!)
After looking at Steelcase and Herman Miller I had some sticker shock and ended up going with an Autonomous ErgoChair Corehttps://www.autonomous.ai/Only $250 and it's really nice.
I got a refurbished Hermann Miller Aeron chair for $230 or so after using them at a bunch of client sites for ~5 years. It's been a great purchase.
Bought a Herman Miller Aeron from eBay for about £250. Was sick of burning through cheap chairs, this one is the best chair I've ever had and cost less than some of the horribly uncomfortable Ikea jobbies.
Herman miller aeron office chair. Only downside is now I can't sit in cheap office chairs without discomfort..

Obviously, this advice isn't t
I'm 6'2" and a bit heavier than you. I have never found a chair nearly as comfortable/ergonomically good for me as the C size Aeron. Their LONG warranty, longer life, and loaner chair program makes them a worthwhile investment for me. My current Aeron is ~15 years old, had one warranty repair 7 years ago to replace the cylinder and lumbar pad, and has been perfect otherwise.
Recently got an Aeron for about $600.http://www.madisonseating.com/aeron-highly-adjustable-by-her...
I second this. I use Herman Miller Aeron in both work & home. It is expensive (new ~$1k, I bought used on amazon for ~$400) but it's worth every penny imho.
