Did you try treating anxiety as such?

As somebody who tend to overthink and had some issues with anxiety disorder last year, this is spot on.

You could consider getting some help for that anxiety.

Anxiety is irrational. addressing your physical symptoms in the moment is FAR superior to being introspective. Save that for your personal retrospective after the anxiety subsides.

> "but have you tried just not having anxiety?"Probably this is _the_ solution for many? GP seems to talk from experience with this, or similar situations.Probably it could work for you too, if you haven't tried it yet. (Also, if you haven't tried it enough times. One experiment/measurement is not enough.)

I'd say unless you're experience seriously crippling problems I'd take some distance from the anxiety. Brains are much more resilient than thought. If you have tangible symptoms, consider asking your GP, better safe than sorry.

That's me. I had to stop because of the anxiety. I just have to get back to life as I always used to and measure the distractions via behavioural changesAnd yet here I am, commenting on HN...

I've had similar problems. I think it's an anxiety thing. Ever tried mindfulness meditation? Basically you just sit for 20 to 40 minutes and focus on your breathing. It's been working well for me. I would also look into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy if I were you.

People with anxiety could have told you this :)

I talk to my anxiety peaks. It's a bit like a meditative distanciation device.
