Screw Head Types
Comments debate the merits of different screw head designs like Phillips, Torx, Pozidriv, and hex, preferring Torx for reduced stripping and better torque, often using hammer/nail/screwdriver analogies to discuss using the right tool.

Are screws bad because you need a screwdriver?
Problem is as developers, sometimes we only have hammers for these screws.
Sounds like a screw would be better.
It is really a hammer for a screw.
One Philips fits a lot of sizes, can't say the same about Torx or Square.
are you quite sure you weren't trying to use a pozidriv bit in philips screws/bolts, or vice versa?
Torx screws are better then pH or flat, lot less likely to get stripped.
give me hex (or torx) flanged bolts and keep the thumb ones away.
Regardless, using Pozidrive, JIS, Torx or similar is better for your soul.
Torx is much more stable than philips head.
