SubtitleBee is a better option as it offer subtilting options as well as translation, transcription, and video cropping.

Would this be of help with YouTubes auto-generated subtitles? I hate the fact the words appear just in time one by one, unlike traditional complete sentences that appear fully one at a time.
It doesn't. Because it relies on video's subtitles as input at the moment.
