C'mon now, there's no Nobel Prize in economics, only the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel ;)
Tell that to the Nobel Foundation:> Not a Nobel Prize> The prize in economic sciences is not a Nobel Prize.https://www.nobelprize.org/nomination/economic-sciences/

It was made up to make economists feel better. From Wikipedia:> He explained that "Nobel despised people who cared more about profits than society's well-being", saying that "There is nothing to indicate that he would have wanted such a prize", and that the
>Just because someone's a Nobel Laureate (he's an economist) doesn't mean they're right.https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-economics-nobel-isn...
Does that go for the "Nobel" prize in economics as well?
From the first sentence:>LAST week, the Nobel prize in economics was awarded to Jean TiroleThere is no such thing as the Nobel prize in economics. The prize's real name is the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. It's not a Nobel prize.
