Very aggressive pricing! Dropbox is 4 times more expensive for 100 GB. $5/mo vs $20. Will be interesting to see how Dropbox reacts to that.
$20 a month gives you "unlimited" storage at google. they gladly take my encrypted files for years now and I'm up to 80TB. i think its more than reasonable to pay them for that type of service and be slightly above board (the account type i have says i need a minimum of 5 people but its just me).
15 GB free, 100GB for $2 per month. Your move dropbox.
Isn't the price a little high? $10/TB/mo is the same as Dropbox, and this has a lot fewer features than Dropbox.
Well for my needs the Dropbox plan costs 10 times more than the Google or iCloud plan. Because I need 50GB, not 2000.
If you need free space to store something this is so not for you buddy... Just go register 10 google accounts to spread your stuff around and you never need to pay for storage;) some people like to be a customer not a product
Seems quite expensive for 500GB of storage. Dropbox offers 3TB for around the same price. An extra 1TB is 59 Euro a year.
Just pay $10/month and dump them in your 1TB DropBox account?
I'm hoping this will compel Dropbox to reevaluate their pricing structure. Storage from Google is an order of magnitude cheaper than Dropbox - paid storage starts at $5/year, and for the same $100/year as the cheapest Dropbox account (50GB) you get 8x the capacity.
Yikes! That's a lot more expensive for my data usage than Dropbox!
