No need to call every social misbehavior "SJW".

It's weird to see the term "sjw" used by someone who isn't a repellant fuckwit. It's been a reliable flag -at least on HN- so far. That's something you might want to be aware of.

What does "SJWs" mean in this context?

Please stop with this "SJW" nonsense

SJW is a well recognised term for a political movement and their principally unsound methods. In this case, the actual story is about SJWs and their actions, and how their unsoundness has caused injustice.YMMV, but personally I couldn’t imagine a better term to use in the top level comment.

The "social justice warriors" coined the term. Now it is "meant to be insulting"?

What's a "Social Justice Warrior"?

skinkestek May 4, 2020 View on HN

It means Social Justice Warriors.I'd like to say I'm one as I do stand up and fight for people who are less privileged than me, but the term is deeply tainted by people who pretend to care about others but are really just out to play the game of politics and use a weaker/minority group or individual to further tjeor own selfish cause.Don't use the word as I guess there are at least two subgroups of HNers ready to downvote and/or flag you for it ;-)

Insightful, but I am confused by the final paragraph:> I'm tired of this anti-Web and anti-accessibility SJW nonsense“SJW” must have a meaning I’m not familiar with, because Social Justice Warriors would be pro-accessibility, not anti.
