Any comparisons to Propel Auth? (Another YC funded auth service that seems to have lot of overlap here)

How does this compare to auth0? Genuinely curious

rolling your own auth is underrated.

Sounds great. Curious, what did you use for auth?

Sick of spending your time on auth, you decided to spend all your time on it?

How about an authentication that doesn't require a 3rd party service?

How do you handle authentication and authorization in real-world apps?

davey561 Aug 11, 2022 View on HN

fair. easiest way for us to spin up authentication, but happy to enable more options if matters to enough people.

Auth is zero value-add table-stakes requirement with a lot of complexity. I haven't a seen a product with enough built-in. External provider is the way to go.

Do you have an alternative to authentication?
