Why is Jira a deal breaker for you?

tentacleuno Jan 26, 2021 View on HN

How was your experience with Jira?

actionowl Oct 17, 2018 View on HN

If it makes you feel any better JIRA is probably the least shitty of the Atlassian suite products (not by a large factor). You might want to be more concerned about Confluence, BitBucket, and Bamboo creeping into your workflow. I'd suggest seeing if you can get away with using a more lightweight tool such as Github issues, Redmine, or Gitlab.

What would you replace JIRA with and why?

mbrodersen Dec 10, 2018 View on HN

JIRA works great for me and the company I work for. Don't blame the tool if you don't know how to use it.

TLadd Jun 20, 2022 View on HN

Yep. Jira is far from perfect, but I've not had any better luck with anything else.
