What if you want a Mac that's not ugly?
Why does it have to look like a Macbook?
That is one aesthetic computer. Would certainly purchase that over an Apple on looks alone.
Try to brush it away, but laptops didn't look like this before Apple made them look like this. This may have minor differences from from Apple's design, but let's be honest about the fact that the design is based on Apple's and not anyone else's.
I really wish this didn't look like a bad imitation of an Apple product. Surely it's possible to build a nice looking laptop that doesn't look so similar to a MacBook. If you're going to do something different, just be different. I think these things are actually kind of sweet, but I can't stand the way they look.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I agree that it looks too much like an Apple product, but I think the differences they made are nice and the machine over all looks better than the Macbook Pro.I am disappointed though. One of the images they showed was in low light and it made it look like the whole surface of the keyboard area was charcoal sort of shade. I think that would look way more sleek and professional looking, and at the same time it would help to differentiate it from Apple pro
good looking is not the point. If you want people to forget the MacBookAir, then good looking is very much the point
I question the functionality but the aesthetic reminds me of my old IBM Thinkpad days.
The design is awesome. I like the sleek no nonsense aesthetic. Reminds me of thinkpads of yore. We need phones and laptops that look like this.
I'd guess to not make the Macbooks look ridiculously bad.
