Recruiters reaching out barely means anything, they're usually just automated

Wow have never seen one like this. Maybe recruiters just have “fun” after a while because their job seems like mostly fruitless cold calling. Probably not though, I wouldn’t respond or would ask to be removed from further communications

Is that why I get recruiter emails almost daily?

Sounds like the lesson here is to bypass the recruiter huh?

Same for me. The only recruiter messages I get seem desperate because they don't even match my profile skill-set.

I'm somewhat curious as to why you blurred out the recruiters name. Seems like a good ol' fashioned public shaming would be useful.Also, unless you Photoshopped that image, it looks like all of those emails came to you as well. Do you automatically get CC'd in employee emails?Finally, what are your opinions on recruiters in general? You mentioned Oli as being a good one, but in my experience, there aren't very many good ones at all. I tend to get bombarded by recruiters

It's the recruiter's automated shotgun, in my experience.

The recruiter that got back to me was more direct and less spammy than other random recruiting emails I get from those who see my profile on linkedin etc. I'm wondering if this is an accident or a change in the way the recruiter views these postings.
