Yes (crazy CPU/memory/battery usage). I switched to using it in a browser tab and it's been much better.
I've been using it for a couple of years. One problem I have is that the idle cpu usage goes up to 10-20% after a while on my Mac. Drops back to ~1% after restarting the app
Nice, but the page takes my laptop's CPU from a quiet 2% to a whiny 100%.
Feedback:For some reason, it maxes out my CPU usage, all 4 cores full speed, on a simple webpage with some light javascript.
Maybe check the macOS Activity Monitor or top to see if there are any processes hogging the CPU.
Looks nice, but it slowly turns my laptop into a fireball and pegs an entire core (older laptop).
This website started doing something heavily CPU bound on my machine.
What was using the CPU? If it was “kernel_task” an external fan will help.
it looks beautiful but just having the page open on my 2011 Macbook Air results in about 50% constant cpu usage, fans spinnig up etc without me doing anything. Thats a bit much.
It's consuming ~20% CPU in idle on my machine (MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3, macOS Mojave 10.14.6)
