I see your rhetoric and raise you one. Please don't post shallow dismissals.
I'm afraid that in its current incarnation, your comment doesn't amount to much more than an insult towards the author. I would elaborate on what makes this crazy in your opinion, and others may discuss your argument.
I find it condescending and cliched in the same way those in this thread do:https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39417916It adds absolutely nothing to the discussion. A better response is for the GP to tell us why they think the OP is naive. It's a low effort unsubstantiated jab that pollutes the comments.

Good one. Trite comments like yours always make for good discussion. Care to elaborate on why you think I'm wrong?
Don't make the mistake of thinking the commenter you're responding to as authoritative on anything. The comment is bullshit.
"I can't believe everyone is taking this comment seriously."They didn't. My comment wasn't an argument, it just stated my position. Someone else replied with a different position, and I explained further. In an ideal world, I would've fully explained my position in the first place, but it wasn't worth the time if no one disagreed.I do call things "silly" too much.
If you have an argument to make about why this line of thinking is worrisome or lacking in understanding you ought to make it. As it stands your comment is just patronizing.
The difference is that I'm not claiming to speak for HN and censor voices I don't agree with. That's your job, apparently. In any case, glib dismissals of shallow, condescending arguments are the appropriate response. In point of fact, my response wasn't shallow at all, if you think about it. There's a lot to unpack in considering whether someone's opinions are indistinguishable from something chatGPT might output. Either way, such replies, admittedly short and pith
This comment is well-written, but doesn't seem to have any actual substantive content beyond "other people are wrong about this subject, because reasons".
