I don’t understand your point. The natural progression of things is how we got to this point. You’d need some massive shock to the system (like a legislative law) to change it at this point.
yes, people want change, but sometimes the rate of change is too overwhelming...and once the change is set in motion, no one is able to predict what the next actions would be.
Sounds more like you need a full on revolution to change that then.
Hopefully not for long. Change usually happens when our hands are forced

Devastating changes in society are not new either, so maybe that?
a lot changes under a non-capitalist, socialist banner... a lotsocieties don't do well with big change.. there should be something more gradual to aim for

You’re assuming things will remain static. They will not.
You're talking like society hasn't changed power structures over the years. How things are is not some unchangeable physical law.
