I was realizing that spicy food can be that.
Oh those are some spicy peppers!
Like how capsaicin makes food feel hot even when it isn't?
It's so you can taste ridiculously hot peppers ;)
Do you find it surprising that some humans enjoy eating very spicy peppers?
I'm a human and I like chili peppers
Some people like spicy, some people hate spicy. Everybody reacts to spicy.
Love me some Capsaicin, even though Iām not supposed too (I guess)
Yup, I've been eating super hots for a number of years now including fresh Carolina reapers. They simply don't hurt at all when I eat them and honestly, getting past the heat really brings out the ability to taste the flavor and I can tell you from experience, if you are experiencing pain, you aren't tasting the flavor. For anyone picking up the hobby, know this, you will reach the point where your stomach and other parts of your body will become a limiting factor so build up s
Jalapenos have never been a very piquant pepper. Your tolerance has probably increased. Try serranos or habaneros.
