I think they're saying that the noise from the Ethernet circuit will leak into the analog speaker connection.
Aren't primary and secondary still connected for EMI management (causing the "weird buzzing sensation" when touching metal parts of connected devices)?

Try shielding it, put it in a small metal enclosure. Might not be noise on the power supply - just strong EMI so close to it will cause problems.
maybe, with high frequency radios and improperly shielded cables and chips, the most likely scenario is RF interference?
What was your problem with it? It's not very isolated from electrical noise, but it can be pretty good still.
That is just electromagnetic interference.
