TikTok is available in China. The app is called Douyin. And the content being shown to Chinese citizens is very different from what is being shown to Americans. Social media apps are the Trojan horse of politics today used by all sides.

TikTok is also banned in China. For the Chinese market, Douyin is there from the same company ByteDance. Americans need to understand this decision is not an emotional one but for the nation, just like the opposite party does for its nation.

Tik Tok is illegal in mainland China, the "local version" called douyin is heavily doctored to promote only positive messages. Ironic that CCP cry anti asian hate on the proposition to ban tik tok

Considering TikTok is owned by a Chinese company and China has it's own version of TikTok, are these new updated rules reflect in the Chinese TikTok?

TikTok isn't in China. Its sibling app Douyin is. Both owned by same parent company.
