First meal around noon, last around 6PM (18:6 they call it I guess). No eating out, only cooking at home, and no alcohol. Together with some exercise (running 4x a week) lost 7kg in 3 weeks. Sleep has improved dramatically. If you feel hungry, just drink a large glass of water (400ml).
Personal anecdote: I lost 10kg mostly by skipping dinner every few days when I have good lunch. So seems about right
It was me as well, 7 months ago I weighed 245, ate a shocking diet and subsisted on energy drinks and coffee.Last year I got diagnosed with a serious spinal condition and resolved to fix as much as I could.I now weigh 182lbs, lost 12 inches of my waist, don't drink any energy drinks and my coffee addiction is down to I work out for 30-45 minutes everyday without fail mostly bodyweight and callisthenic exercises with swimming a couple of times a week.Blood pressure is
Simply counting calories will reduce your weight. I can pretty much confirm that now. Over the last eight months I tried to stay below 1900 calories per day and I have lost 17 kilo. As much as I wanted to, I did not manage to change my diet in any meaningful way, I’m just eating less. I didn’t even manage to keep up a regular sports routine. But my fallback – mercilessly tracking my weight and counting calories – saved me. (I would very much want to eat better. Many of the things I’m eating now
I've lost 20kg in 1 year and a half just by eating less and walking more. When I was hungry I was taking an apple instead of eating biscuits.
I’ve lost (and kept off for a few years) 20+ lbs a couple times in my life. Each time by rigorously logging calories and less rigorously doing strength training and running.I’ve found myself again in a position where I want to lose about 20 lbs, but I find logging calories is such an unbelievable drag. It forces me to think about food all the time, meticulously breaking down every meal and putting it into an app. I think this ends up making me more hungry. This time around I’m just trying t
I've lost 15Kg in around 3 months. All I needed to do was stop eating all the time and stop eating a lot. I also stopped eating anything with very high caloric content.I had been going to the gym for 2 years before that and no signs of losing weight... once I reduced the amount of food and calories I was ingesting, surprise: quick weight loss.Your weight is a function of your diet and the amount of physical activity you perform. The problem is that when you increase the amount of phys
I did it with my eating and workout habits and lost over 40Kg :) It really feels good not to be an obese :)
I had a very similar experience doing this too. Lost about 21kg in 2-3 months and went from 98kg to 77 kg in 3 months which is a lot for a guy who is 5'7. 16/8 IF(Intermittent fasting) , mostly plant based and one day was a cheat day.Didn't exersise at all for the majority of that period and even when I did the intensity wasn't high enough to put a dent in caloric deficit coming for eating less.I did this 5 years ago and am still doing it and haven't gained my weight
I've lost 20 lbs that way, eating real food.
