How did you conclude it's active daily users?
AFAIK, this is the amount of daily & active users.
The 500m figure was for active users. I'm not sure they announce exactly what that means, but typically it's a sign in during the past ~30 days.

That IS active users. They have far more accounts. Last I read, 1.1bn MAUs.
